A few members of our Fashion Photography Course at UCF were asked to take ‘detail’ pictures of the 3rd Year Fashion Design & Performance Sportswear Design’s work.
While we were waiting for models to turn up, Liam (Fashion Photography @ UCF) and I were setting up the lights and we decided to get some portrait pictures as well (just for good measure really).
This is a portrait, Liam had taken of me and I quite like the layers and framings he got using his ‘free lens’ techniques.

Sound and Vision

We had a studio induction day a couple of days ago and Rochelle (Fashion Photography @ UCF) and myself wanted to stay behind for a few more hours to have a bit of a play around and do our own thing as I haven’t posted a Lookbook picture for quite some time [MANY APOLOGIES] and I thought this was the perfect opportunity.
I played around with a few different looks and this ‘80’s Hipster’ was one of my favourites that I had worn that week and though it was a perfect look to shoot.
As the ‘Dickhead Song’ about Hipsters from Youtube goes; “Something retro on my necklace”, I thought i would go with this trend and I found my first pair of Nike High-Tops from being a baby and I thought… these would go perfect with my look and I hope you will agree
I got the name ‘Sound and Vision’ from one of David Bowie’s 80’s hit songs

Amelia Pemberton (was Fashion Photography, now Fashion Design at UCF) and myself were asked to take some photographs of the Year 10’s fashion projects at Penryn College. 
It was quite a fun day out and it was nice to see how younger students are taking to the fashion industry, at my high school and 6th form, we didn’t have a fashion program and that did upset me a little bit, (from what i’ve heard, they’re starting one soon)
After we’d finished working, the press came to take some photographs and we asked if one of the photographers didn’t mind taking a picture of Amelia and myself jumping in the glorious sunshine (just for fun really). I’m wearing my vintage tortoise shell Ray Ban Wayfarers, maroon Harrington Jacket, a blue denim shirt from Topman, dark blue Leigh Jeans from Topshop and my shoes are Dr. Marten’s 
As you can see, I’m a ‘child-at-heart’ still as is Amelia so I really enjoyed working with her that day.

I thought this would be a picture worth going on my fashion blog
It is by no means me trying to be ‘fashionable’, this was our university ‘Space Party’ and I have no idea what I was supposed to be.
I got called David Bowie, Annie Lennox and Cryton (Red Dwarf) countless times… so i’m pretty sure its a mixture of the three.
I do like my fancy dress, so look out for other odd encounters coming you’re way

yesterday we met Clive Crook (art director of ELLE Magazine)
this was after he gave us a professional critique on our portfolios which was pretty terrifying i must admit but still a very exciting experience
we got to have a Q&A with him and also listen to his talk on how his career has journey’d from university to the present day

Jodie Harsh was lovely, had such a good time and this was one of the highlights

at London Fashion Week, i met Molly from The Saturdays and even managed to interview her !

ANNIE MAC gig was so good the other night
Annie found my costume hilarious and she even posted it on her official Facebook page
she’s such a lovely person and she gave me some champagne and signed my top with her own lipstick !
she took me back to her green room and everything !
